Hans is studying the microbiome of Culex mosquitoes using 16S amplicon data and shotgun metagenomics. He received a PhD-Fellowship from the Occitanie Region and INRAe Dpt SA entitled ‘Ecogenomic of the intestinal microbiota in Culex pipiens, main vector of West Nile and Usutu.’
